International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP)
Administrative Professionals Week (APW) and Day (APD)
April 24, 2013
IAAP celebrates the 61st annual APD on Wednesday, April 24. Today it is one of the largest workplace observances in the world, with events offered from Edmonton to Horseshoe Falls and from St. John’s to Nanaimo. Administrative Professionals Week / Day recognizes administrative professionals and highlights the tremendous potential the role offers.
Some activities planned include:
• Vancouver breakfast event;
• Toronto’s gala dinner and silent auction;
• Calgary’s half-day workshop;
• Edmonton’s all-day workshop; and
• Several others across Canada.
The theme in 2013 is “Honouring the office professionals who make office work”. This theme is deliberately broad to include everyone in the office who makes it work – from the mailroom staff to the Help Desk technicians, to the accounts payable/receivable clerks, to the payroll clerks and everyone in-between.
These events are open to the public. IAAP invites you to join them as they Honour the office professionals who make offices work!
